Project management Face-to-face learning activities — Classes in which the teacher presents the theory component of the subject and clarifies related concepts, and offers direction and motivation. Additional material and information provided by the teacher to serve as a guide and complement to classes is available via the Virtual Campus. Classes are structured in two parts: Directed learning activities — Group work: These activities form part of the final grade.
Independent learning — Reading: Practical exercises in project management For the second part of the subject, students are required to develop a project to solve a generic problem formulated by the teacher.
This includes a definition of project objectives and scope and detailed planning. During the first week of class, students enter the process to choose a practice group for team work. Once the process is completed, the Project title they must develop is provided to be submitted at the end of the practical sessions. By assigning the Project at the beginning of the course, students are allowed to study as they progress on the teaching blocks.
They can refer to the theory lecturer or to their practical work teacher. These practical exercises consist of the following activities: A written report explaining the development of the project must also be completed. Each student is responsible for the defence of the activities he or she carried out within the group. On finishing the practical sessions, each student must submit individual and group self-assessment forms.

Continuous assessment implies evaluating progress in the subject and involves the completion of various exercises throughout the course, with different scores attached to different assignments. The specific activities and assessment regulations are announced at the beginning of the course; at least one activity is an individual examination.
The process for continuous assessment is completed with a final examination covering the entire course content, the date of which is set by the Academic Council. Repeat assessment is set on the dates determined by the Academic Council, in the period of final examinations. The content, procedure and criteria are the same as those established in this course plan for the single assessment examination.
To qualify for repeat assessment a continuous assessment result of at least 3. This second part of the course can only be evaluated by continuous assessment, and there is no possibility to repeat assessment.
Failure to attend any of the classes odmingo be justified perforce, being due to an inevitable or significantly important cause, and may result in group members receiving different grades.
